Cyclocross Moose
Somehow I wildly misjudged the size this needed to be to fit into the frame. One would think after all these years I'd know how to operate a ruler...
In the picture frame most of the barricade and my signature are completely cut off and the top of the frame crops the top of the antlers and helmet... doh...
Ah well...

Sale day at Steep Hill
Even though it was sale day (or rather BECAUSE it was sale day), I managed spend over $500 on groceries... and somehow managed to load it all up on the Yuba.
I have no idea how much it all weighed... but it was a LOT. I was a little concerned about climbing on myself, worried that if I hit a bump the whole bike might explode. I actually considered just pushing it home.
Ryan from Bicycle Smile just happened to be wandering by and took this pic of me as I was about to totter off down the road.
I did ride home in the end. I walked to the end of the block and got on and cut through a couple alleys to the top of the broadway bridge and things were feeling okay so I rode the rest of the way home. While i could certainly feel the extra weight the bike didn't feel at all unsteady or flexy -like it was about to break in two or anything- it's one SOLID bike!
April Snow brings NO PANTS!
