Whooops!

  1. Yeah... with all the melting and freeing it was pretty treacherous out there. They're OLD studded tires - Bike Doctor home-made specials that have seen too many years of riding too long into the spring on dry pavement. When I put them on a couple weeks ago I pointed out the "studs" were nearly worn down to nuthin....

Also Amanda's had a couple nasty falls so she's pretty anxious about riding on ice and... well... rides a bit too tight..?

  2. Ouch! Sorry to hear that. Give Amanda my condolences.

I ate it two weeks ago. Tracks not ice, though. And an ER visit for stitches. The stitches gave me an excuse to grow a mustache, though.

  3. Yeah, I read about that - didn't sound fun AT ALL! Hope you're doing better! This wasn't nearly so spectacular!

Though Amanda has had her share of stitches (on her face) from bike crashes - too much front break on a downhill, over the handlebars, landed chin first!? On her mountain bike, before she even got to the trail!?
